Sofía Aristeo

Sofía Aristeo Serdán, from the state of Querétaro, has worked for 18 years on a rainwater harvesting project with 70 families. Water is not only a right for everyone, but also a shared responsibility. In the community of Chiteje de Garabato, families recycle water through small greywater biofilters and cultivate family gardens in small spaces to conserve water.
