Gabriela Sacco

Gabriela Sacco is a civil engineer specialized in hydraulics and an advisor on water governance and integral ecology in Latin America. She holds a Master’s degree in Training from the University of Leicester, and postgraduate studies in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the London School of Economics, Marketing at Cornell University, and Future Scenarios Planning at the University of Oxford.

She leads higher and technical education institutions in Argentina and coordinates training programs that educate more than 3,000 public-sector and water service professionals annually, in collaboration with AySA. She was part of the founding team of the University of Water and serves as academic lead of the Postgraduate Diploma in Water Governance.

She collaborates with ecclesial networks linked to the Amazon, has participated in high-level dialogues at the Vatican on water ethics and sustainability, and currently collaborates as an advisor to the University of Notre Dame’s Just Transitions initiative, contributing to projects on the Amazon, integral ecology, and socio-environmental justice.
