
Paulo Díaz Sevillano
Paulo Díaz Sevillano is a Peruvian environmental professional and consultant with extensive experience in water justice, natural resource management, and community-based work in the Amazon region. He is an Engineer in Tropical Forest Ecology and holds a Master’s degree in Natural Resources from Oregon State University.
He currently serves as Consultant and Head of Communications at the Vicariate of Iquitos, where he supports water-related initiatives, project formulation, environmental education, and advocacy alongside Indigenous and riverine communities of the Peruvian Amazon. His work bridges technical knowledge, social research, and faith-based engagement, with a strong focus on water access, socio-environmental conflicts, and integral ecology.
Paulo has collaborated with international research programs and universities, contributed to studies on water injustice in Amazonian cities such as Iquitos, and is actively involved in capacity building, community workshops, and environmental communication through radio and publications.
